Working on the Syberia Collection of paintings. I can only show the beginning stages of the paintings because I don't want to give away too much of what the paintings will look like; to see them you will have to come to my shows or wait until someday I post them on-line. To see more of my Sieria work-in-progress CLICK HERE
Check out a video about my new collection that I am currently working on. The collection is called "Siberia". Keep checking this page for updates on the work on "Siberia" as every-so-often I will be adding content to show my progress. CLICK HERE to see the progress of my work. Thank you for having interest in my work:)
I am so not good at taking selfies, but here I am painting my new collection of paintings that I started today. This project is a huge undertaking of paintings based on historical facts, and on a documentary which I filmed last summer.
Displaying my paintings at the City Hall in Halifax, NS.
With my husband, so happy that I could forget about everything, and just go on being happy. But that would not be fair. I still need to stop and look around...because happiness is a rollercoaster. One day I may be happy, another day I may need a friend. When I am happy others may not be and they may need help. I still need to pay attention to all who need attention in this world. Amongst many things, I AM REALLY CONCERNED ABOUT ANIMALS and the LACK OF ANIMAL RIGHTS. I AM REALLY CONCERNED ABOUT POVERTY and the LACK OF LOVE. When we are happy, let us not forget about everything else except ourselves.
Someone once told me to "paint small paintings," and they were quite rude about it. This person even refused to look at my paintigs. When I heard them say this, in my head I said to myself "NEVER EVER"..."Never will I let someone tell me what to paint, how big to paint etc." I am glad I listened to myself and continued to paint big. The positive comments I receive from people who see my work are worth my stubborness. In the end, the person who chose not to look at my paintings is the one who lost out on it.

The mess after my husband made the amazing raw wooden frame for the painting above. It will be painted as soon as I decide on the design and the colour of it.

I have been busy making a painting of a famous tourist destination ¨Peggy´s Cove¨. The painting itself was finished on March 6th; however, I filmed the entire process of me painting this painting and the film is being edited to be available for viewing on my website and YouTube any day from now. Until the video is up, I leave you with a photo of me painting the site at Peggy's Cove. Additionally, I am preparing some paintings for a juried show: if you want to know what this show is about then Click Here to see last year's show.
I am in Quebec City taking pictures and videos of my favourite city in all of Canada for my next collection.

This week I will be very busy as I am preparing for my next show; therefore, I will not be posting much this week. However, I am attaching here a link to an on-line competition: My niece Pamela Cioroch is taking part in this competition. She is an amazing pianist and composer. If you don't like classical music, I am sure now you will. Don't miss listening to her music.
Just came back from Victoria, BC. I brought back with me some amazing pictures to help me finish some of my paintings. I have a lot to think about as a lot of thought goes into each one of my paintings.
Here is a small video about my new production of smaller paintings for the collection "The Charming PEI". I rarely work on such small canvas, but it turned out to be a lot of fun. This collection of paintings is based on my first sail to Prince Edward Island, with the Royal Canadian Navy. I never want to forget the charm of PEI; therefore, I am puttng my memories on canvas.
As I had already mentioned, I continue working on three of my new collections, and on a couple of portraits for a friend. Lots of work and I can't wait to be done. One of my collections consists of a few smaller paintings. Tomorrow off to New Brunswick to do photography for my other productions. Here is a cute picture I took today of my cat Bonzie sleeping under my canvases.
